To provide individual investors with tailor-made asset management plans designed for their life goals and investment needs. |

Private banking used to be pursued by small sized Swiss banks, however, that has changed. Japanese interest has since grown steadily within individual asset management, caused by the introduction of US style 401K plans activated by investments from retiring baby boomers. This large wave of retirement packages is estimated to be more than US$700 billion started in 2007. Japanese individual financial assets worth US$14 trillion are expected to grow in connection with this trend. Private bankers can act as consultants for individual asset management in this evolving environment within Japan and Asia.
Unfortunately, there seem to be no media sources in Japan, which teach even the basic concepts of private banking benefits and its value to Japan's future society.
Individual asset management planning is considered the job of professional financial planners, but there have been few independent financial planners in Japan historically. Similar services are needed which will introduce private bankers and other similar professionals who can be good consultants for individual investors in a huge and growing market.
Private Banking Japan (PBJ) aims to provide individual investors with basic knowledge on private banking, and introduce them to well matched private banking services which are considered the most appropriate from our neutral third party perspective. |
